The food is well cooked and the service is good too. The quantity and quality is wonderful and the prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend my friends to come here when they have a craving for indian food.

Beautiful environment inside. A full bar with good quality spirits, red & white wines. A good range of non alcoholic drinks. A little disadvantage of the building it’s not in the main road. Beach is just approx 400 meter away from here. Beautiful menu. I am one of their regular guest just because of that quality of food & service. Average pricing which could be more as per their quality of food and service rate. My favorite curry is *Chicken Kadhai* on medium heat.
All I would say that it is a hidden gem in such a small town. We are quite lucky to have such a great restaurant in this town.

The food is always just so delicious, mouth melting. Once you enter the restaurant you get the aroma of Exotic Indian spices & herbs. Beautiful location. They do European lunch as well where they have a really good variety of food fulfilling almost ever individuals choice.
Headlands India restaurant all I would say you guys are doing great job, keep it up.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal this evening at Headlands Indian Restaurant, Opunake. We are staying in an AirBnB right across the road and could smell the divine aromas of Indian cuisine wafting down the street. The food was reasonably priced – one curry, with poppadum, one biryani, and a mango lassi for $48! And the portions were generous; we were unable to finish and decided to take the rest home for lunch tomorrow.
We were made to feel welcome by the manager/owner, who not only checked in to make sure our food was OK but also offered us insiders tips to best exploring Opunake.
All in all, we had a delightful experience at Headlands Indian Restaurant and would recommend to anyone visiting Opunake!
Had a great dinner from here tonight. The staff member was really friendly and helpful. I wasn’t particularly hungry but had heard really good things – he helped me pick a selection of nibbley food that hit the spot for dinner. Loved the Malai Tikki chicken appetizer 🙂
